It seems that Tesla boss Elon Musk is done with work from the home culture. That’s because the world’s richest man has dashed out a mail wherein he has given an ultimatum to all Tesla employees. He has warned that the employees of his electric vehicle company will have to work from their respective factories and offices for at least 40 hours per week. All those employees who don’t agree to this condition will be shown doors and fired from the company. For all those who don’t know, Musk has never been fond of the work from home culture that started with COVID pandemic.

Meta’s top executive all set to resign amid regulatory crisis

The spate of bad news continues for Mark Zuckerberg’s social media company Meta. Facebook and Instagram’s parent company has been at the forefront of the regulatory crackdown since last year. Now amid all this crisis, Meta is all set to lose a top and powerful executive. The name of that executive is Sheryl Sandberg, who has been the COO of the social media company for over 14 years. In fact, Sandberg was the second most powerful person in Meta after Zuckerberg.  For the last one and half decade, Sandberg played an instrumental role in transforming Zuckerberg’s company into one of the biggest companies in the world.

Google Meet all set to merge with Google Duo to form a single app

Are you someone who frequently uses Google Meet and Google Duo? If you do then there is some interesting news for you guys. Google will soon club together Google Meet and Google Duo apps. This means in the future you can host video conferencing meetings as well as personal video calls from a single app itself.  However, it is still not known when this merger will be completed. Google has actually never found much success either with instant messaging or social media platforms. We all know the failure of Google hangout and also Orkut, which at one point was immensely popular before Facebook arrived and killed it.

OpenSea’s Ex-Employee gets arrested for Insider trading of NFTs

The former product manager of OpenSea, which is the world’s largest marketplace for NFTs, has been arrested in the U.S. for insider trading charges. The name of this OpenSea’s former employee is Naithaniel Chastain. Now what’s really interesting about this news is that this is the first official case of insider trading involving a digital currency. Actually OpenSea had fired this concerned person from his Job last year September over the charge of insider trading. But back then the U.S. police had neither filed a case nor arrested this person.

Apple to move Ipad production of China

Shaken by China’s strict lockdown, Apple has now decided to shift some iPad production from China to Vietnam. This will be the first time that Apple will be moving out Ipad production out of China. By the way, Vietnam already manufactures AirPods Pro 2. The month-long strict lockdown in Shanghai has badly disrupted Apple’s production targets. The tech giant is even reportedly worried that this might even impact its forthcoming quarterly revenues and profits.
