Amazon finally launches its own image generator – it’s called Titan
Amazon has finally launched its own AI image generator at the ongoing AWS reinvent 2023 event. Known as Titan Image Generator, it can create new images from text descriptions or customize existing images. Amazon is making Titan Image Generator available to a limited number of customers through an early access program. The company plans to make it more widely available in the future. You can use Titan for number of purposes, for instance creating product images for e-commerce, generating illustrations for marketing materials, designing custom graphics for websites and apps and many other things. Titan will directly compete with OpenAI’s image creator DALL·E.

“Go F*** Yourself”: Elon Musk lashes advertisers for fleeing X
Speaking in an interview at a New York Times summit, tech billionaire and X’s owner Elon Musk said “go f*** yourself,” in what was a fiery response to high-profile advertisers fleeing ‘X’ over his alleged antiemetic views. He added that the advertisers were blackmailing him and he doesn’t want them to advertise on the platform. However, no sooner than he made this controversial statement, Musk came up with a more matured and non-impulsive response. Musk said that he was “sorry” for a tweet that agreed with an anti-Jewish post on X on Nov. 15. Musk’s unceremonious comments have come immediately after his brief visit to Israel where he tried hard to prove that he is not antisemitic or anti-jew. Some of the top advertisers who have recently fled X includes Apple, IBM, General Motors, Ford and Disney.

Netflix is adding GTA Trilogy to its Game Library next month
Netflix is all set to add Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy to its mobile gaming lineup starting from December 14th. The trilogy, which includes Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, will be available to all Netflix subscribers at no additional cost. The games will be playable on iOS and Android devices. This will be considered as major victory for Netflix, as it marks the first time that the GTA trilogy has been available on a mobile gaming platform. The games are considered to be some of the most influential and popular video games of all time. The addition of the GTA trilogy is sure to boost Netflix’s gaming offerings, which has been expanding its gaming library in recent months.

Microsoft joins OpenAI Borad as Same Altman makes a comeback
Sam Altman is officially back as the CEO of OpenAI following the days of high-voltage drama. As Altman makes a comeback so does Microsoft in OpenAI’s new board of directors’ team. Microsoft will be taking a non-voting observer seat in OpenAI’s new board. This means that the tech giant will have more visibility into company’s day-to-day operation but won’t have an official vote in big decisions. Microsoft is one of the strategic investors in OpenAI with nearly 49% stake in the company. By the way, OpenAI’s new board won’t have three existing members who played a pivotal role in Altman’s sacking.

Mozilla is adding dozens of extensions for Firefox on Android
Firefox browser for Android is getting over 400 more extensions in December. Starting on December 14, 2023, Firefox for Android will openly support extensions that are compatible with the platform. This means that developers will have a straightforward path to port their existing desktop extensions to Android, and users will have a much larger selection of extensions to choose from. Technically, Firefox already supports extension on Android but the current library is bit more limited. However, this is all set to change now. Additionally, Mozilla has announced it will be redesigning the add-on library to better show the new options.
