Amazon has made a big Podcast Acquisition
Wondery, one of America’s well-known independent podcast networks, is now all set to be acquired by Amazon. Both the companies announced the deal today without divulging the financial details of the deal. Several media reports have estimated Wondery’s market valuation to be around $300 Mn. The podcast network, which is known for its podcast crime series Dirty John, was reportedly in talks with Apple and Sony for a potential acquisition deal. Wondery is now expected to become part of Amazon, which had launched podcast support in September last year.

After Coinbase, Binance will also delist XRP from January next year
Binance has become the latest cryptocurrency trading exchange to ban XRP trading. The deactivation of XRP trading will start from January 13 next year. XRP, one of the leading cryptocurrencies, has been facing backlash after SEC sued Ripple for allegedly selling XRP as an unregistered security over the last seven years. Since then XRP’s price has been sliding down and scores of exchanges have banned its trading.
