Apple issues Software Patch to fix major security issue

Apple has issued a major Software update to help fix all the major security issues that has erupted across all the major Apple devices. Cybersecurity firm Citizen Lab was the first one to detect this major security attack on Apple devices. Citizen Lab has further accused in its statement that Israeli firm NSO group was behind this malicious attack. NSO has neither denied or accepted this accusations. (Click here)

A new study of Microsoft employees reveals Remote Working hurts productivity and collaboration

A new study of the Microsoft employees has once again revealed the not so rosy side of the remote working. The study has found that remote working has not only hurt collaboration and communication but has also put innovation to a great risk. This disclosure was one of the key findings of a peer reviewed study of more than 61,000 Microsoft employees. Intuit to buy email marketing firm MailChimp for $12 Bn

Intuit said on Monday that it is all set to acquire email marketing company MailChimp for $12 Bn in a cash and stock deal. Intuit, which specializes in providing finance software, said that it will use the acquisition for accelerating growth among small business clients. This deal marks Intuit’s most expensive acquisition deal till date. Last year Intuit had acquired Credit Karma for whopping $8 BN.

Alibaba leads $300 Mn round in China’s self-driving startup DeepRoute.ai

Alibaba makes additional $2 billion investment in Lazada.

China’s e-commerce giant Alibaba and other investors have pumped $300 Mn in China’s self-driving startup DeepRoute.ai. Deeproute.ai competes with WeRide, which is backed by Nissan Motors. Following the latest funding, Deeproute.ai said it will use the funds for developing self-driving trucks…

South Korea Fines Google for $177 Mn

South Korea’s regulatory body has fined Google for whopping $177 Mn for abusing its dominant market position. This is the first major anti-trust action taken by South Korea against Google ever since the passing of the historic bill earlier this month. The bill essentially stops the likes of Google and Apple from forcing app developers to their payment system.
