Do you regularly use Chromebook or Mozilla Firefox for browsing? If the answer is ‘yes’ then you have to be alert while using them. That’s because the Indian government has issued a high-risk warning to Chrome OS and Mozilla Firefox users. The Indian government’s cybersecurity agency, CERT-in, has warned that both these systems are infested with several vulnerabilities and bugs. The Indian government has further said that these vulnerabilities can provide hackers access to all your important data and can even launch sophisticated attacks on your system.

Meta has given up on its smartwatch dream

Meta, which is already spending billions of dollars on Metaverse, is currently engaged in cost-cutting measures. And as part of this process, the social media giant has now decided to abandon its smartwatch project. For all those who don’t know, for all the last two years Meta was trying to build a smartwatch with an aim to take on Apple Watch. And mind you, the company was really planning to give tough competition to the Apple Watch. That’s because Meta had plans to add not one but two cameras in its smartwatch. This would have made Meta smartwatch a really unique product. But sadly, this product will now never see the light of the day.

Jack Dorsey and Jay Z have launched a Bitcoin academy

Twitter Co-founder & Block CEO Jack Dorsey has joined hands with popular rapper Jay Z for starting one of its kind Bitcoin academy. This academy will be located in Brooklyn, New York and will conduct offline as well as online classes. The main aim of this academy is to emphasize on Bitcoin as a path to financial freedom.  Well, I personally don’t know about Jay Z but Dorsey has always been a strong supporter of cryptos. This despite the fact that many famous billionaires like Warren Buffet and Bill Gates have described cryptos as a  mere ‘hype.’

Popular Condom brand Kamasutra forays into NFT

Kamasutra, the brand that is almost synonymous with condoms in India, has become the latest brand to join the NFT craze.  The company has launched 6 digital tokens and these digital tokens are currently available for sale on several NFT marketplace. The condom company said that its NFTs will help in popularizing its condom products among the millennials and younger generation. This, by the way, is India’s first-ever NFT collection in the sexual wellness category.

Elon Musk says no Starlink IPO for next three to four years

Elon Musk has said that he won’t list his satellite internet company Starlink on the American stock market for the next three to four years. This has been reported by CNBC. The tech billionaire said that Starlink’s revenue needs to reach a desirable stage before he can think of taking it to IPO. For all those who don’t know, Starlink is also planning to soon launch its service India but the company is facing regulatory hurdles. By the way, as and when Starlink plans to enter India it will face competition from Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Jio. That’s because Ambani’s Jio has also set its eyes on India’s satellite internet market.
