Elon Musk may soon cut jobs at Twitter

Elon Musk, the new owner of Twitter Inc, may soon end up cutting quite a few jobs at the microblogging company. According to Bloomberg, while negotiating for loans & funds from banks and investors Musk broadly mentioned about cutting jobs at Twitter. These job cuts are reportedly part of tech billionaire’s efforts to increase microblogging company’s profitability. To implement job cuts, sources claim that Musk might dissolve Twitter’s communication team. This prediction is based on the fact that the tech billionaire is not fond of the PR & communication team. In fact, Musk had dissolved the PR team at Tesla a few years back.

Snapchat launches a new flying camera drone – Pixy

Snap Inc, the company behind the new social media platform Snapchat, has just released a new hardware in the U.S. market. Its newest hardware innovation is called Pixy – a small flying camera drone. Pixy is so small that it can even fit into your pocket. This is unlike most other camera drones that are big in size and can never fit into your pocket. Pixy will soon start selling in the U.S. at a price of $230.  It is still not known when Pixy will be available in other markets.

Mukesh Ambani will soon foray into streaming business

Mukesh Ambani, India’s richest man, is all set to take on the likes of Amazon Prime and Netflix. According to media reports, media tycoon Rupert Murdoch’s son James Murdoch’s company has agreed to invest Rs 13,500 in Mukesh Ambani’s media company Viacom 18. Most of this investment will go in creating a streaming platform. However, most of the information about Ambani’s streaming platform is still ambiguous. But most media reports do claim that this streaming platform will be launched in the market within the next six months.

WhatsApp is working on multiple phones & tablet syncing feature

If everything goes well then in the near future you’ll be easily able to use your WhatsApp accounts on multiple phones and tablets. Currently, WhatsApp’s syncing feature is only restricted to computers and laptops. But media reports are now claiming that the Meta owned company is currently beta testing mobile & tablet syncing feature. However, it is still not clear when this feature will be officially launched. But there is still doubt that WhatsApp users will more than welcome this feature.

Snapchat CEO plays down the Metaverse hype

The entire world is currently going ga ga over Metaverse. But Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel feels that there is simply too much hype around this futuristic technology. Spiegel said that Mark Zuckerberg’s digital immersive world is too ‘ambiguous.’ In fact, the Snapchat CEO said that he has even banned the word ‘Metaverse’ in his office. Some media reports also claim that some Meta investors are skeptical about Zuckerberg’s costly bet on Metaverse.
