Google says ‘no ad change monetization’ for climate change deniers
Google and You Tube have decided to do their bit for promoting climate change. Both the platforms on Thursday announced a new ad policy that will stop serving ads on platforms that either denies or promotes mis-information on climate change. This is Google’s most aggressive and strict ad policy till date for curbing falsified information around climate change. Tesla shifts its HQ from California to Texas
Tesla CEO Elon Musk said in a shareholder meeting that the company is all set to shift its headquarter from California to Texas. Austin, Texas is a place where the electric car major has been building state-of-the-art factory for little over a year. However, Musk made it equally clear that the company will continue to operate its California plant and will work towards increasing its production. Microsoft acquires a small startup called Ally.io
Microsoft announced on Thursday that it has acquired Ally.io, a startup that provides software for helping companies to increase their productivity. Both companies did not disclose the terms of the deal. Ally.io will become part of the Microsoft’s Viva software, which was launched earlier this year and was made available through its popular Teams app (Click here)

Russia behind most state-backed hacking incidents, Microsoft;
Software giant Microsoft has just released a report claiming that Russia accounted for nearly 58% of hacking incidents during the last one year. The report clearly implicated Russia’s hand behind last year’s Solar Wind Hack, while the report went on to add that China accounted for nearly 9% of the state sponsored attacks (Click here).

Australia wants Facebook to held liable for toxic content posted by anonymous people
Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison unleashed a fresh tirade against social media platforms and named specifically ‘Facebook’ in its latest adversarial comment. Morrison particularly targeted people who hide their true identity by going anonymous and resort to bullying and mental harassment on social media platform.
