Elon Musk makes history by becoming first person to top $400 Bn net worth

Elon Musk has reached a new milestone by becoming the first person ever to surpass a net worth of $400 billion. This milestone, reported by Bloomberg and other sources, was largely fueled by significant increases in the valuations of his two flagship companies, SpaceX and Tesla.  A recent insider share sale at SpaceX significantly boosted Musk’s net worth by approximately $50 billion, elevating the company’s valuation to around $350 billion. The stock price of Tesla has also increased nearly 70% since the November 5 presidential election, clocking an all-time high of $424.77. Musk’s close ties to President-elect Donald Trump and his anticipated role in the new US government may have also helped in increasing the valuation of his companies.
