How to take a screen shot on a ThinkPad

The different ways to take a screen shot on a ThinkPad
There are a few different ways to take a screen shot on a ThinkPad, depending on which model you have.
If you have a ThinkPad X1 Carbon, you can take a screenshot by pressing the Fn + Spacebar keys. This will take a screenshot of the entire screen and save it as a PNG file in the “My Pictures” folder.

How to edit a screenshot on a ThinkPad
If you want to edit a screen shot on your ThinkPad, there are a few different ways you can do it. You can use the Snipping Tool, which is a built-in Windows tool, or you can use a third-party program like Paint.net or GIMP.
Here’s how to edit a screenshot on a ThinkPad using the Snipping Tool:

How to take a screenshot on a ThinkPad with Windows
There are several ways to take a screenshot on your ThinkPad running Windows. The most common way is to press the Print Screen key, which is usually located in the upper-right corner of the keyboard. This will take a screenshot of your entire screen and copy it to the clipboard.

How to take a screenshot on a ThinkPad with macOS
To take a screenshot on a ThinkPad with macOS, simply press “Command + Shift + 3”.
How to take a screenshot on a ThinkPad with Linux
On most ThinkPads, you can capture a screenshot by pressing the “Print Screen” button. On a few models, however, you must press the “Fn” key along with the “Print Screen” button.
Once you’ve taken the screenshot, it will be saved in your default screenshots directory. On Ubuntu, this is usually the “Pictures” folder in your home directory.
