Ford has announced that it will use used coffee beans from McDonald’s for making parts of its cars. The automaker will use the chaff to make auto components. Apart from making the vehicle lighter by up to 20%, it will make future Ford vehicles greener and sustainable. McDonald’s produces 62 million pounds of chaff each year in the US alone.
