Instagram users can finally edit their DMs
There is an exciting news for Instagram users. Instagram has launched the ability to edit your direct messages or DMs for up to 15 minutes after sending them. Thanks to this new exciting feature, users can now fix typos, clarify their messages and even completely edit their messages even after sending them. Users will have to simply long press on the message you want to edit and select “edit” from the menu. Users can edit a single message multiple times within the 15-minute window. This update brings Instagram in line with other messaging platforms like WhatsApp that already offer similar editing functionality.

Google’s Pixel Phones just got a new exciting update
Google on Monday announced that some Pixel phones will soon receive an updated feature that includes improvements to the existing ‘Call Screen’ feature. This new feature inserts a new ‘hello’ button, which is especially useful when the caller is silent during call screening. Tapping the “Hello” button prompts Google Assistant to politely ask the caller why they’re calling. You can then hear their response in real-time and decide whether to answer the call, dismiss it, or let them know you’ll be available soon. This new feature is available only on Pixel 6 and later models, including the Pixel Fold. Additionally, it’s currently limited to English language calls in the United States.

Why Elon Musk has been sued by Ex Twitter CEO
Elon Musk, who barely few days back sued OpenAI, finds himself on the receiving end. Musk has been sued by four ex-Twitter executives including former CEO Parag Agarwal. They have accused the tech billionaire of allegedly not paying them the severance payments after they were ousted from the company. The severance payments amount to nearly $200 million, according to the lawsuit. Musk has so far refused to comment over this issue. Musk’s $44 billion takeover of Twitter last year witnessed a many dramatic events including the ouster of Agarwal and scores of employees. Post takeover, Musk was even accused of not treating its employees fairly and not paying its vendors.

Google’s co-founder Sergey Brin, who is known for keeping low profile, few days back commented on the recent controversy around Gemini’s image generation feature. He said that Gemini definitely “messed up on the image generation.” He added that the problem occurred not merely because of lack of sufficient testing, indicating a deep technical issue might have caused this problem. Last week, Google was forced to temporarily stop Google’s image generation feature, after several users discovered historical inaccuracies and questionable responses. The event has caused a huge embarrassment for Google as it has pinned huge hopes on Gemini to catch up with OpenAI’s ChatGPT.

OpenAI launches ‘Read Aloud’ voiceover to ChatGPT, allowing it to speak its outputs
OpenAI just launched a new exciting feature for its popular chatbot ChatGPT. This new feature is called “Read Aloud” and allows users to hear ChatGPT’s responses spoken out loud. This new feature is available on ChatGPT mobile apps for iOS and Android. However, it is still not clear whether this feature will be available in its web version. To activate it, users have to hold on ChatGPT’s response and select the “Read Aloud” option from the pop-up menu.
