Jack Dorsey’s job in Twitter is Safe
Jack Dorsey has managed to stave off the storm that was threatening his leadership at Twitter. On Monday, Dorsey finally reached a truce with investor Elliott Management that will help in keeping the embattled CEO in helm of the affair at social networking giant. Elliott Management, which bought major stake in the company few weeks back, wanted Dorsey’s ouster. It accused that Twitter’s earnings were suffering due to Dorsey’s indifferent and partial attitude. An accusation that many find true, given that Dorsey has to simultaneously look after two companies – Twitter and his Fintech firm Square.

Coronavirus hits space agency NASA
The spectra of Coronavirus is now so massive that it has not even spared NASA, America’s premium space agency. According to reports, an employee in NASA’s Ames Research Center in California has been tested positive for Coronavirus. NASA’s Research Center has now restricted the access and has reportedly issued mandatory notice requesting employees to work from home until further notice.

Apple may delay iPhone 5G launch….blame it on Coronavirus
Apple may very well postpone the launch of its highly anticipated iPhone 5G handsets and the reason for this delay obviously pins down to Coronavirus. As par media reports, launch of new iPhone handsets supporting the 5G high speed connectivity will now be pushed to October. Apple was planning to carry out verification tests on 5G supporting iPhones in China but the plan got jeopardized due to company’s travel restrictions imposed in the wake of Coronavirus outbreak. Apple apparently didn’t want to take any chances, since China is the epicenter of Coronavirus.

BMW’s first long-range EV won’t be launched in US
The BMW iX3, German automaker’s first long range electric vehicle, won’t be arriving in US anytime soon. The German-based auto giant was initially planning to launch BMW iX3 – company’s first normal looking electric vehicle – in US around 2021. However, BMW’s spokesperson told Automotive News that BMW iX3 will only be launched in Europe and China for time being, leaving US auto consumers disappointed.

Australia drags Facebook to court over cambridge analytica scandal
Cambridge Analytica has once again made a comeback to haunt Facebook. Media reports claim that Australia’s privacy watchdog is planning to sue Facebook, accusing the social media giant of allegedly breaching the privacy of over 3,00,000 Australian citizens for political profiling. Back in 2018, Cambridge Analytica became a global scandal that gave Facebook a lot of bad press and brought the issue of data privacy at the forefront of public debate.
