LinkedIn has become the new hotbed for crypto scams, warns FBI
Beware LinkedIn users. According to American police, the professional networking website is being increasingly used by crypto scamsters to target innocent victims. The FBI said that these scamsters, most of whom allegedly hail from Southeast Asian countries, are creating fake LinkedIn profiles. These scamsters then try to build relationships with potential crypto investors before convincing them to invest in fake cryptos. Although this scam is currently being reported only in the U.S., LinkedIn being a global platform its users need to be alert. As of today, LinkedIn globally has 900 Mn users and It is equally very popular in India.

Google’s co-founder Sergey Brin is getting Divorced
Sergey Brin, the man who along with Larry Page co-founded search giant Google, has decided to split from his second wife Nicole Shanahan. Brin had filed a petition for dissolution of his marriage in a U.S. court almost a month. Brin, who is also the world’s sixth richest man, is the third mega billionaire to file for divorce in recent times. The other two billionaires being Microsoft’s Bill Gates and Amazon’s Jeff Bezos. The divorces of these two mega billionaires proved to be very expensive. And Brin’s divorce is likely to follow the same path. Brin along with Larry Page founded Google in a garage in 1998. And today Google, as we all know, is among the world’s big tech giant companies.

SEBI fines Reliance $3Mn for not disclosing 2020 Facebook deal ‘promptly’
India’s stock market regulator SEBI has imposed a fine of $3Mn fine on Reliance Industries for being unduly late in disclosing Facebook’s $5.7 Bn in Reliance Jio in 2020. The market regulator said that the Mukesh Ambani led company should have been more prompt in disclosing Facebook’s investment in Jio. SEBI also said that Reliance Industries had also hidden the price sensitivity information about the deal. Apart from Facebook, Reliance Jio had secured investment from slew of high-profile companies in 2020 including Google and private equity major KKR.

Few weeks back Whatsapp rival Telegram had promised that it will launch its paid subscription plan ‘Telegram Premuim.’ True to its promise, Telegram has finally started rolling out its paid plan ‘Telegram Premuim’ across the world. According to TechCrunch, Telegram Premuim will be available for a monthly subscription of $5, which in Indian rupees comes to roughly Rs 390. This premium plan will offer tons of unique features that users won’t get in the free plan. This includes faster download speed, ability to transfer big size files at a high speed and many other features.

Elon Musk’s transgender daughter wants to officially change her name
Elon Musk has transgender daughter. I know this piece of information will come as a huge shocker for many people. The concerned transgender daughter that I am talking about is actually the son of Tesla & SpaceX CEO and his name is Xavier Alexander Musk. Xavier is a child from one of Musk’s previous wives. Xavier had undergone an operation and by the virtue of this operation Xavier changed his gender from male to female. Following this operation, Musk’s transgender daughter has filed a petition in the U.S. court, saying that she now wants to officially change her name. This new name will obviously be a female name.
