Luma AI debuts ‘Dream Machine’ in a challenge to OpenAI’s Sora
Luma AI, a San Fransico based AI startup, has rolled out Dream Machine, an AI model capable of generating high-quality videos from simple text prompts. The initial beta testers have given lot of positive reviews to the AI model, especially praising its ability to render specified objects, characters, actions, and environment but at the same time maintaining fluid motions and cohesive story telling. Stability AI launches Stable Diffusion Medium, its new text to image model
Stable Diffusion 3 Model is the latest AI model from the stable of Stability AI. It boasts only 2 billion parameters and is relatively small model compared to other models, allowing it to run on standard consumer PCs and laptops. However, despite its small size, the company claims that this its most advanced text-to-image model till date especially because it can handle complex prompts; handling intricate descriptions that involves spatial relationships, actions, and diverse artistic directions. Microsoft to retire ‘GPT Builder’ feature in Copilot
Barely three months after launching ‘Custom GPT Builder’ feature in Copilot, Microsoft has announced that it is going to discontinue the feature. The company has also confirmed that all the GPTs created by Microsoft and its users will be deleted starting from July 14th. Custom GPT Builder was available only to Copilot Pro users and discontinuing of this feature won’t make much difference. For all those who don’t know, the Custom GPT Builder feature within ChatGPT allowed users to create customized GPTs and custom-tune it by using their personalized data and style. Copilot Pro users can look for other alternatives. For instance, OpenAI has its own dedicated GPT store where ChatGPT plus users can create custom GPTs.

An exclusive report published in The Wall Street Journal has made sensational accusations against Space X’s CEO Elon Musk. The report accused that the tech billionaire had sexual relationship with two of his employees, including a intern, and asked another SpaceX employees to have his babies. Dubia based AI startup Camb.AI has launched ‘MARS5,’ claimed by company as the world’s most capable speech emulator. What’s special about MARS5 is that it is not only open source model but it can replicate speech performances across over 140 languages. The company claims It can capture the essence of a speaker’s voice, including prosody (rhythm and intonation) with just a few seconds of audio and text input. The core English language model is currently available for free on GitHub. This launch by Camb.AI seems to be a direct challenge to Eleven Labs, which is the current market leader in synthetic speech technology.
