Meta may launch Quest Pro Successor in 2025, Partners with LG
According to reports, Meta has already entered in talks with South Korean giant LG for securing OLED displays to build its high-end Quest Pro virtual reality headset. Microdisplays have significantly higher densities and help in generating higher resolution for compact headsets. This headset will reportedly hit the market by end of 2025 and will be priced at around $2000. According to sources, this headset could be named as ‘Quest 4 Pro.’ The Quest 4 Pro will directly compete with Apple’s recently launched Vision Pro Headset. The report further claims that Meta is also planning to launch a low-end Quest headset in 2024 that could cost under $200.

Huawei’s latest smartphone is powered by made-in-China chip
A teardown of Huawei’s new smartphone Mate 60 Pro is powered by made-in-China chip. This chip has been manufactured by a Chinese company Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corp. This is a major breakthrough for Huawei in its attempt to overcome the U.S. sanctions, which has stopped the Chinese company from accessing chips manufactured by the American companies. Although the made-in-China chip is reportedly not all that powerful when compared with U.S chips, it is still powerful enough to be used in a high-end smartphone. This development also signifies that China can manufacture chips on its own, which should be cause of concern for the U.S.

In the same lawsuit, Musk has further alleged that ADL is pressurizing the advertisers to boycott X and not to spend any advertising money on the platform. The ADL’s tweet, which has since been deleted, said that Musk’s offer to buy Twitter was “an antisemitic dog whistle” and that it was “part of a pattern of antisemitic behavior by Musk. Back in 2018, the billionaire was criticized for tweeting a meme that many called it anti-semitic. He later apologized for the tweet.
