Microsoft’s Canva Alternative Debuts on IOS & Android Apps

Microsoft on Wednesday announced that its Canva-like designing app the ‘Designer app’ is finally landing on IOS and Android app for public use. Till now it was available only to limited users since its launch. It is powered by OpenAI’s DALL-E 3 image generation model. It can generate wide-range of images with simple text prompts and few drag and drop tricks, like social media posts, greeting cards, collages and even stickers. Besides, you can edit existing photos, blur backgrounds and remove unwanted objects from the photos. Above all, it is completely a free tool. You don’t have to pay a dime to use this AI powered image designing tool. On the paper at least, this tool looks very impressive but it remains to be seen whether it can give tough competitors like ‘Canva’ and ‘Adobe’ a run for their money.

Instagram now allow creators to add multi-audio tracks to Reels

Instagram has probably made a great addition to Reels by allowing users to incorporate multiple audio tracks. They can now include 20 different audio clips in a single Reel. These tracks will play on the top of each other, allowing you to create a layered audio experience. However, content creators will have all the freedom to adjust where each audio track plays within their reels, ensuring that it perfectly aligns with the short video. This feature completely eliminates the need for the third-party editing tools for creating a layered music track for your short videos. Over all, this feature can prove to be a game-changers for Instagram Reels, more so because TikTok does not offer a built-in multi-track audio feature.

‘Space X’ and ‘X’ Headquarters are moving out of California

Elon Musk led companies ‘Space X’ and ‘X’ will soon see their headquarters shift out of California and move to Texas state. Musk made this decision public on his ‘X’ handle. Space X headquarters will be moved to company’s rocket site, Starbase, in Texas and X’s new headquarter will be shifted to Austin from San Francisco. Since past many weeks, Musk has been venting out his frustration over the state-of-affairs in California on his X handle but the final blow came in the form a new controversial law. This new law prevents school authorities from notifying the parents of their child’s gender identification change. Although Musk has often claimed that he supports ‘transgenders,’ he has been equally vocal against any law that he claims has a ‘woke’ agenda against the society.

Tinder’s new AI feature could select best ‘profile pic’ for your dating profile

If you thought that you’re not-so-impressive profile picture is hindering your dating prospects then Tinder’s new AI feature could prove to be a good savior for you. Dubbed as ‘Photo Selector,’ this feature leverages the facial recognition technology. However, to ensure privacy, it won’t access your photos in your photo gallery by default. Rather you will have to take a selfie and upload it to Tinder app and then Photo Selector feature will come into play. It will create a collection of best-looking selfies, based on criteria like good lighting and composition. It will eventually select the best among all the curated photos for your profile. However, for Tinder users who don’t want to use automatic selection feature, they will get to review the AI’s suggestions and pick which ones they actually want to use on their profile.
