Mistral rolls out a moderation API
French based generative AI startup Mistral has taken a huge step in the critical area of content moderation by launching a moderation API. This is the same API that powers content moderation in Mistral’s Le Chat chatbot platform. Currently, it will perform content moderation for 9 categories including sexual, hate & discrimination, violence and threat, dangerous and content and more. The moderation API will be applicable for raw and conversational text, the company said. Mistral further said that its moderation is highly accurate and but it is still work in progress, hinting that it might do some mistake.

Google’s November Pixel Update have Started rolling out
All the Google Pixel phones running on Android 15 has now started receiving the November update. Models prior to Pixel 6 that do not run on Android 15 won’t be eligible for this update. The update is primarily focused on fixing bugs, performance improvements and security patches. Talking specifically about bugs, the update will focus on fixing Bluetooth connectivity problems, bugs related to camera performance issues and dismiss button not functioning correctly. As for security, the update will address nearly 21 security issues with focus primarily on high severity issues. To install the update, Pixel users will have to go settings and then System Update.

TikTok launches a new feature, allowing users to share music directly from Spotify & Apple Music
TikTok has just announced a new exciting feature called ‘Share to TikTok,’ letting its users to share music directly from Apple Music and Spotify without having to leave the platform. They can now easily share their favorite music or song from playlists, albums, podcasts and audiobooks and post directly into TikTok feeds including the For You Page (FYP) and Stories. This move comes after TikTok decided to shut down its dedicated music platform called TikTok Music. TikTok probably believes that it is much wiser to collaborate with these music platforms and enhance the user experience of its users rather than competing with them.

Sega will delist several of its classic games from its digital store front
Sega is set to delist over 60 classic games from major digital storefronts, including Steam, Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch, starting December 6, 2024. This decision affects a range of beloved titles such as Crazy Taxi, Jet Set Radio, Golden Axe, and Streets of Rage. Players who already own these games will still have access to download and play them after the delisting. However, no further updates or bug fixes are expected for these titles. Some individual classic titles will remain playable for users with a Nintendo Switch Online subscription
