Microsoft Bing mimics Bing UI in a spoofy way
Microsoft Bing has adopted a very controversial strategy by designing a new UI that closely mimics Google’s user interface. When users search for “Google” on Bing search engine, they are presented with a page that closely resembles Google’s layout, featuring a search bar and an image reminiscent of a Google Doodle. This misleading design is basically aimed to create an illusion to users that they are using a Google search engine. What further adds to the illusion is that the Bing logo appears obscured in the new interface. As a result of this illusion, when users enter their queries in the spoofed search bar, they are ultimately directed to standard Bing search results.

Gemini AI is arriving to Google TV in 2025
Google announced at CES 2025 that Gemini AI is coming to Google TV devices later this year. This integration will make it easier for users to talk to Google TV and interact with it more naturally. They will be able to have more back-and-forth conversations with Google TV without having to repeat the “Hey Google” prompt for each command. They will also be able to search for content more intuitively, such as asking for “the newest movies from Disney.” Gemini AI will equally facilitate controlling smart home devices directly through the TV. Users can check feeds from video doorbells or manage other connected devices using simple voice commands.
