Unfortunately, Instagram does not currently send you a notification if someone takes a screenshot or screen recording of your Story. However, there is a way to tell if someone has screenshotted or recorded your Story using the new story analytics feature. First, make sure you have the latest version of Instagram installed on your phone. Next, tap on the three lines in the top-right corner of your profile page and then tap on “Story Settings.”
Under “Story Settings,” you should see an option called “Show Story Views.” If this option is turned off, tap on it to turn it on. Once you’ve done this, any time someone views your Story, their username will appear under each photo or video in your story for a few seconds before disappearing. So, if you see a username under one of your photos or videos that you don’t recognize, that means that person took a screenshot or screen recorded that particular photo or video in your story.
It’s important to note that this only works for people who are following you; if someone who isn’t following you screenshotting Instagram stories, their username won’t appear under the photo or video in question. Also, keep in mind that even if “Show Story Views” is turned off, people who have already taken screenshots or screen recordings of your stories will still be able to view them; this setting only affects future views.
