ShareChat’s recently launched video sharing app Moj has on-boarded popular Bollywood choreographer Remo D’Souza for creating dance reality competition on its platform. Dubbed as #MojwithRemo, this competition will invite Moj users to dance to the tune of some of the superhit Bollywood songs. #MojwithRemo will be part of the recently unveiled #MojwithD campaign.
Remo will select three winners from this competition and also reward them. However, ShareChat has not revealed any details about the rewards.
Remo doesn’t need much introduction as he has been one of the most celebrated choreographers of the country. He has choreographed for many movies including ABCD and F.A.L.T.U and has been judge for various dance reality shows including Jhalak Dikhla Jaa and Dance India Dance.
Berges Y Malu, Director, ShareChat said, “It brings us great pleasure to welcome Remo on to Moj. Moj has been built with a vision to provide a platform for creative talent across the spectrum, and we believe, Remo’s presence will inspire more and more users to showcase their talents and unveil their creativity further.”
On joining the platform Remo D’Souza said “I am extremely thrilled to join Moj that caters to a lot of young talent and energy across the country. Moj brings the true essence of the endless possibilities and opportunities.”
Apart from Remo, latest dancing sensation Dharmesh and Mukti have also joined the dance campaign.
Notably, nearly two weeks back ShareChat raised $40 Mn from Dr Pawan Munjal, Ajay Shriram and host of other existing investors. Microblogging giant Twitter had also participated in the round. The Bengaluru based company had categorically said that it will use the latest capital infusion for ramping up its Moj platform.
The company claims that since its launch Moj has garnered over 80 million MAUs, with 34 minutes daily average user spent.
