SpaceX’s Starlink will soon foray into Indian market

Elon Musk owned SpaceX’s satellite internet arm Starlink has set up its wholly own subsidiary in India, according to media reports. Report claims that SpaceX aims to roll out internet broadband services by December 2022 by activating 2 lakh terminals across the country. The name of this subsidiary is Starlink Satellite Communication Pvt Ltd. The subsidiary company claims that it has already received 5,000 pre-day order from India. As per the reports, Starlink will be charging a deposit of $99 per customer and claims that it will deliver data speed in the range of 50 to 150 megabit per second in bit stage (Click here).

Facebook whistleblower France Haugen has claimed that Facebook is unlikely to change its approach towards hate content if its CEO Mark Zuckerberg continues to remain at the helm of the affair. TikTok’s rival Kuaishou’s CEO has stepped down

Kuaishou, popularly knowns as TiKTok’s alternative, has announced that its CEO SU Hua will step down as its CEO and will be replaced by Cheng Yixiao. Hua has become the latest high profile name to make an exit from a prominent technology company ever since Chinese government started the regulatory crackdown on the so called big tech companies of the country (Click here)

Tesla opens charging network for other EVs ( for first time)

In a  first, Tesla will open its EV charging network for electric vehicles manufactured by other companies. Elon Musk’s company will open a pilot project in Netherland and will install 10 charging stations across 10 different locations in the country.
