Spotify on Monday said that it is planning to test a new service that will virtually allow artists and labels to influence its algorithm. Of course, the streaming giant doesn’t intend to give completely free hand to private labels and artists. What this new service could do is that artists and private labels could promote any music they want on their platform. Once they make their request, Spotify ‘s algorithm will make necessary changes to showcase their promoted music in radio sessions or on when listeners chooses to enter auto play mode. The Micro blogging giant decided to hide Trump’s tweet, which were reportedly tweeted on Monday night, behind ‘misinformation warning.’ This means that Twitter has called this tweet as good as fake. In this particular tweet, Trump had launched a tirade against American Supreme Court for Pennsylvanian officials to count ballots postmarked by Election day.

India’s e-commerce giant Flipkart acquires gaming startup Mecha Mocha

India’s home grown e-commerce behemoth Flipkart has acquired social gaming platform Mecha Mocha for undisclosed amount. The Walmart company has refused to disclose any financial details about the deal. The acquisition deal has come at a time when Flipkart is looking at innovative ways to increase engagement with potential as well as existing customers. This is probably the first time that Flipkart has acquired a gaming startup.

To compete with Amazon, Walmart for many years has been using robots for better management of its inventory. However, it now seems that Walmart has decided to bid adieu to robots as it goes for cost-cutting measures. According to Wall Street Journal, Walmart has snapped ties with robotic startup Bossa Nova Robotics.
