Twitter opens up Spaces for 600+ followers

Twitter has decided to give its recently launched audio chat feature ‘Spaces’ a new leash of life. The micro-blogging platform said on Monday that Spaces will now be available for anyone who has 600 or more followers. It also announced that Spaces will come with new features to give a more immersive audio chat experience to its followers. This includes features like Ticketed spaces, scheduled features, reminders so and so forth. Twitter’s decision to expand Spaces has come at a time when the popularity of audio chat is picking up in the wake of Clubhouse’s growing popularity.

Clubhouse’s download numbers falter in April, numbers dipping as high as 66%

Is Clubhouse’s popularity falling off the cliff. If the latest numbers furnished by Sensor Tower are anything to go by then this surely seems to be the case. According to Sensor Tower, Clubhouse was downloaded only 922,000 times in the month of April while it was 2.7 million downloads in March and impressive 10 million downloads in January. The Clubhouse has taken silicon valley by a storm ever since its global popularity skyrocketed, propelling several popular social media platforms to join the ‘audio chat’ bandwagon.

Apple may launch foldable iPhone with 8-inch screen by 2023

One of Apple’s top analyst, Ming Chi Kuo, has said that the foldable iPhone will become a reality in 2023. He further predicted that the foldable iPhone will come with a 8-inch screen, which will almost pass off as a mini-tablet. Not that foldable phones have not invaded the market. Samsung, Huawei and Xiaomi have already rolled out foldable phones but their over-the-top price has meant that it remains largely inaccessible to the consumer.
