Twitter is cutting down on its top leadership employees. Latest media reports claim that CEO Parag Agarwal has fired two top managers of the company. This includes Consumer Product Leader Kayvon Beykpour and the General Manager of Revenue and Head of Product Bruce Flake. This is by far the biggest change in Twitter’s senior management ever since the company agreed to Elon Musk’s $44 Bn take over deal. In another interesting development, the microblogging company has decided to freeze hirings at least for next couple of months.

Ford drops the plan of making EV cars in India

In a major setback to the Indian government, the U.S. auto giant Ford has decided to give up on its plan to manufacture EV cars in India for the global markets. The Indian government had shortlisted Ford among other auto companies in a special scheme for encouraging them in setting up an EV manufacturing plant in India. But Ford has now communicated to the Indian government that it will now be opting out of this scheme. Notably, the Indian government has also been trying to woo Elon Musk’s Tesla for setting up a manufacturing plant. But even these efforts have not met with much success.

Crypto billionaires are currently having a tough time. Over the last one-week renowned crypto tycoons have lost fortunes of dollars due to the on-going melt down in the crypto market. According to reports, Coinbase founder Brain Armstrong lost nearly $9 Bn of his personal wealth due to heavy sell off in the crypto market. But the biggest loser probably has been Binance’s CEO Changpeng Zhao who has reportedly lost more than $80 Bn in a matter of just few days.

Mark Zuckerberg is not leaving any stone unturned for making a metaverse a great success. As part of this ambition, meta showed a short video where the company boss Mark Zuckerberg is shown unveiling the capabilities of a new upcoming mixed reality headset. This headset, which has been codenamed Cambria, will help users to interact with virtual objects in a mixed environment. Cambria headset will be among the many headsets that Meta may launch in the market in future. Zuckerberg is hopeful that all these investments in AR & VR headsets will help in capturing the much hyped up metaverse market.

Guys we already told you that Tesla is most likely to drop the plan of setting up a manufacturing plant in India. But India’s loss can prove to be massive gain for Indonesia. According to reports, Tesla boss Elon Musk is planning to visit Indonesia in coming weeks and even meet its president Joko Widodo. Reports claim Musk seriously wants to woo the Indonesian authorities. This is because Indonesia has a huge reservoir of nickel, which is a key material for building EV batteries.
