Weeks after Elon Musk hinted that Twitter may soon opt for job cuts, the microblogging platform on Thursday announced that it is laying off 100 employees from its talent acquisition team. Notably, this lay off has come amid growing uncertainty over Elon Musk’s acquisition. Mind you, Musk still does not own Twitter as this high-profile deal was suspended a few weeks back. By the way, some unconfirmed media reports are now claiming that Musk’s Twitter deal is in danger and the deal can be called off anytime soon. Musk is reportedly unhappy over Twitter’s lack of transparency over fake and spammy accounts.

Vivo’s Top Executives may have fled India amid ED Investigation

According to media reports, Chinese smartphone manufacturer VIVO’s top two directors Zhengshen Ou and Zhang Jie may have fled from India. These reports have emerged just days after the several Indian offices of Vivo were raided by the ED officials. Media reports have claimed that these two directors fled from India over the fear of getting arrested. Both these directors have reportedly fled to China through the Nepal route. Few months back, ED officials had also raided Chinese mobile manufacturing company Xiaomi in connection to money-laundering case. Meanwhile, China has reacted furiously over the recent raids against Chinese companies, hinting that such raids might impact India and China’s economic relations.

Short video sharing platform TikTok is facing multiple lawsuits in the U.S. over what is being referred to as a blackout challenge. According to these lawsuits, the infamous blackout challenge has ended up killing seven people, with most of the deaths reported in the U.S. But what really is a blackout challenge. Well, it refers to a viral video where TikTok users are motivated to choke themselves until they become unconscious due to lack of oxygen. Now it is not exactly known when and where this video went viral. But it is assumed that the blackout challenge video became viral in June last year, when the first death was reported.

An Australian marketing company called Soup Agency has taken social media by storm. That’s because this Australian firm has taken its entire staff for a two weeks vacation to the famous Bali Island. But what’s really interesting, the cost of this entire vacation has been paid by the company. I mean how lucky these employees can get. The photos of these employees partying around the pool, doing Yoga and doing all kinds of fun stuff in the exotic island has now gone viral on Instagram. Many envious netizens have also enquired on the Soup Agency’s official social media handle whether there is any vacancy in the company.

Yes, all guys and males out there can now start buying inner-wear products from Nykaa. Nykaa’s inner wear brand will be known as Gloot and its starting price will be Rs 499. Meanwhile, stock markets reacted pretty positively to the news of Nykaa’s foray into the undergarment segment. Nykaa’s stock spiked by 4.8% on Thursday and ended at Rs 1,465. By the way, Nykaa is one of the startups whose share prices are still trading above its IPO price.
