WhatsApp may soon allow users to send photos in original quality  

Many WhatsApp users often complain about their photos getting compressed, which ends up lowering the quality of the photos. However, this may soon become a thing of past. WABetainfo reported that it has spotted a latest a code in the WhatsApp’s beta version of the Android app that indicates that WhatsApp users may soon get to send photos in its original quality. Even though currently WhatsApp allow users to select the “best quality” option, the instant messaging platform still does not allow users to send photos in its original resolution.

SpaceX all set to test fully stacked Starship vehicle (for first time ever)

Elon Musk led space company SpaceX is inching closer to yet another important milestone mission. Barely few hours from now, the company would be launching the first orbital of its massive Starship spacecraft after years of testing and explosions. SpaceX claims that Starship has already completed its first flight -like rehearsal where the latter was powered with 10 million pounds of propellant and integrated with the full-capacity fuel tank. Starship’s success is crucial for the SpaceX’s ambitious interplanetary mission of taking man to Moon and Mars. It is no secret that creating human colonies on Mars has always been one of the cherished goals of Musk.

Bollywood Actress Kangana Ranuat’s Twitter Account Restored    

Bollywood’s outspoken actress Kangana Ranuat has made a comeback on Twitter after her account was suspended on May 2021. In her first-ever comeback tweet, the four-time national award winner tweeted that “Hello everyone, it’s nice to be back here.” She further tweeted that her upcoming film, Emergency, has been wrapped-up. Ranuat’s Twitter account was banned for allegedly flouting the Twitter guidelines, accusing the actress that her tweets were intentionally provocative and carried malicious intentions. The ban resulted in a political slugfest since Ranuat is considered to be close to BJP though she is not the official member of the party.

Google’s CEO Sundar Pichai Defends Mass Layoffs

Google’s parent company Alphabet Inc’s CEO Sundar Pichai has defended the mass layoff that was announced last week. In an internal meeting, Pichai said that the company had to act “clearly and decisively” to ensure that the problems confronting the company does not escalate further. The tech giant had announced on Friday that it is handing out pink slips to 12,000 employees, joining the list of big tech companies that have resorted to mass layoff in the wake of ongoing economic recession. Unconfirmed media reports claim that Google’s layoff numbers may even increase in the coming months. With layoffs now almost becoming endemic across the U.S companies, this is probably one of the worst jo4bs cuts that America’s corporate industry has experienced in recent years.

India claim Apple planning to increase its manufacturing base in the country

India’s Commerce and Industry minister Piyush Goyal has said on Monday that the tech giant Apple is planning to increase its manufacturing base. Speaking at the sidelines of a G20 function, Goyal said that Apple is planning to increase its manufacturing base in India from the current 5-7% to 25%. However, he did not elaborate further on this matter while Apple has also refused to comment further on this. Apple currently manufactures iPhone including iPhone 14 in its Chennai factory. The company was recently forced to partially shift its iPhone 14 production from its Shanghai factory to the Indian factory due to strict COVID guidelines in China.
